Cobi Thio-Korendijk
Master aquarellist and gifted draughtswoman/painter.
Jacoba Francina Thio-Korendijk(Rotterdam 1921) was for many years a member of a group of painters in Amsterdam, known as ‘The Independents’.
With them she has had many exhibitions. In addition she has had a series of solo exhibitions in other parts of the country.
The exhibitions with ‘The Independents’, in the wing of the Stedelijk Museum, were lucrative for Cobi Thio-Korendijk; both Dutch and foreign collectors have purchased her work over the years.
In 2009 there will be a sales exhibition in Amsterdam, giving an overview of her work.
A very fine book about her life and work can be purchased via her website:

LA GALLERIA CHE VORREI
www.lagalleriachevorrei.it
A fascinating website with many interesting painters and sculptors from all over the world.
Realist and surrealist works of a high standard.
Every artist included also has his own website within ‘La galleria che vorrei’.
There are biographies, short films and captivating photographs of all the artists and their studios, exhibitions, etc. The locations where the paintings are exhibited are also shown.
A must for the connoisseur of realist art.
The website was designed and is maintained by the Italian art historian Rosaria Fabrizio.

Sara K. : 'Made In The Shade', new studio album 2009 !
'This last album is surely one of her very best, maybe it is THE best. It is certainly no less than sensational. Like good wine, this one has it all – that inner glow, that shining light that is the true sign of real art. Guitars, exotic instruments including the harp form an ideal backdrop for the singer – with Sara K. sounding articulate to the highest degree, her performance mature, completely lacking any harshness whatsoever. This is passion in control. Gentlemen – get hit by that power of a heavyweight champion coming in a velvety disguise.'

Sara K.'s message to alle her fans:
"A note to my friends and fans: I'm putting the pen to paper one last time to say thank you for all your support over these many years. After many years on the road and writing music, I've decided to stop touring and recording. It's hard to explain why but I hope you will understand. I had a good run but I think it's over. It's just too much for too little these days. 'Made in the Shade' explains it as best as I know how. Please except my love and gratitude for all the years you have given me yours. Many, many thanks to Gunter Pauler at Stockfisch Records.
All my best wishes for you and yours,
Sara"
